Glue Dots Messaging & Creative Campaign
The Brief: A long time ago (2017) in an office far, far away, Glue Dots came to Pop-Dot looking for the works: strategy, branding, planning, creative, and so on. But, like many clients, they wanted to skip straight to the creative part. So, after some expedited strategizing—communicating usefulness & encouraging purchases before a need arises—Glue Dots asked for a new slogan and creative campaign to boot. One that stuck to the strategy, but also moved their audience on an emotional level. So, we laced up our Timberland’s and got to it.
The Work: A slogan that has the potential to move the audience in the head, and in the heart: check. A distinct voice and tone that reflects the brand’s playfulness and complements the cadence of the new slogan: discount double-check. A campaign concept capable of brining it all to life—one that starts in the head and ends smack dab in the middle of the audiences’ (and client’s) heart: chickity check.
The Result: A new slogan, distinct brand personality, campaign concept, two video spots, and a print ad template—all of which they use to this day. Turns out Pop-Dot can do a lot, too.
