Lean Focus Business Intro Video

The Brief: Create an engaging video that clearly communicates how Lean Focus—a lean consulting company—removes a CEO’s biggest, most pressing obstacles, leaving them relieved and excited to move forward (with Lean Focus by their side). But, also, do it in a novel way, on a limited budget, and a tight timeline. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Work: Began with a lot of up-front strategy work, digging deep into the CEO’s fears and motivations, determining what type of message would be most likely to get them to reach out. Then came the video concept. After a good amount of competitive research and brainstorming, we landed on a live-interview/whiteboard hybrid concept—something we hadn’t seen before. Once that was approved, we began collaborating with a whiteboard animation company and another video production company on the storyboards and shoot details. Finally, came the script writing and animation direction. Following the client’s directive of making the video distinct and engaging, we paired the rather dry (yet relatable) scenarios with some bitchin’ visual metaphors. As the primary contact for all third-party vendors, sole Copywriter, and the Creative Lead on the project, I was tasked with carrying the project from concept through to final video.

The Result: An engaging, strategy-driven, Lean-focused video that connected with the target in ways our client never had before—leaving them feeling relieved and excited to contact Lean Focus.
